詩與偶的對話,帶您進入王爾德的真情世界
《快樂王子》為無獨有偶的經典代表作之一,以詩意手法演繹英國文豪王爾德的寓言故事。本劇採用捷克盛行的「鐵枝懸絲偶」並予以改良,強化更多的偶的行動可能性。懸絲偶、機關偶、影偶等多種平面或立體不同的偶戲形式運用,以及精巧的轉動舞台,營造了《快樂王子》的特殊氛圍。透過多重人、偶關係所展現的生活想像及生命哲學,呼應了人生哭笑並存的真實感動。《快樂王子》邀請觀眾一同走進北歐小鎮,分享生命的溫暖與感動,是國內難得一見的精緻懸絲偶劇。

The dialogue between poetry and puppetry — share with us the touching moment of The Happy Prince
“The Happy Prince” is one of the signature works by the Puppet and Its Double. We borrow from “Rod Marionette,” a style popular in Czech, and improvise it to increase the mobility of the puppets. Multiple aesthetic styles of puppetry are applied on stage to express a poetic imagination and philosophical humor in the original story of Oscar Wilde. We also employ a mobile stage to help articulate the aura of the play. Through the multiple layers of relationships between humans and puppets, we hope to communicate an imagination and a philosophy of life, something that retains a flavor of fairy tale in a story about social reality. With these efforts, we mean to invite the audience onto an imaginary voyage to the small towns of the Scandinavian landscape to savor the grace of all the happiness and sadness in life.
