搞砸的那一天

有些人生,還活著就已經腐爛

八段以死亡為題,社會邊緣人谷底時刻的生命自白。在冷調的解剖室裡,操偶師穿上法醫袍,以手術刀剖開一具又一具腐敗的人生故事,回溯每一個角色的生命最終站、瘋狂荒誕的樣貌。《搞砸的那一天》以「偶」的超現實神展開,交疊現場樂手王榆鈞電流般嗓音、當冰冷銳利碰上柔軟溫暖物料組成的屍塊物件,引發觀者對於溫度、觸感經驗衝突。在臟器四溢的景象中,冷調激情的生命張力,明知為假,卻仿若真實,微觀當代社會的個體困境,進入與現實感交錯的狂想境界。

Die on that Day

Some lives have already begun rotten even when they’re still alive.

Using death as the theme, Puppet & Its Double Theater Company, in collaboration with musician Wang Yu-jun, explore the life confession of an outcast through eight vignettes. In a cold dissecting room, puppeteers, like forensic examiners, trace each body’s final destination in life, full of craziness and bizarreness. When being dissected, we all face each other nakedly – the most straightforward, naked confession of modern people with the warmth of blood. Through bodily remains and objects made of soft materials, Die on that day invokes experiential conflicts among the audience between temperature and feeling of touch. It seems so real even if we know it’s fake. The day we mess up everything is the moment we exist. As an epitome of individual difficulties within contemporary society, the play invites everyone into a wild realm where reality and fictionality intertwine.
